Jacquelyn "Jackie" M. Veigel (Merchant) 91 of Ann Arbor, Michigan passed away January 4, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Charles "Chuck" R. Veigel. Loving mother of Jill Veigel Javors (Jay), grandmother to Laurel (Mary Bogus) Javors, Alexa Javors (Anthony Unruh) and Charlie Javors. Great grandmother to Matilda Javors. Jackie is also preceded in death by her mother Helen Mast, father John Merchant, brother Andrew Mast and sister Carol Gray. Survived by sister Andrea Knopf (Richard). Jackie was a lifelong resident of Ann Arbor, meeting her husband Chuck in 10 ^th grade at Ann Arbor High School. Their first date was selling pencils for student council. The couple went on to get married and raised their daughter, Jill, in Ann Arbor. In their later years, Jackie and Chuck enjoyed splitting their time between Ann Arbor and Vero Beach, Florida. Private family services will be held at Washtenong Memorial Park.
