Howard was a caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Born in Chicago to the late Raymond and the late Laura Hinze, he resided in Elk Grove Village all of his adult life and served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam 1968 to 1969. He passed away at age 76 at Aspired Living in Prospect Heights, on May 24, 2022. Howard is survived by his beloved grandson Gavin De Leon, brother David, twin sister Karen ( Jim) and his sister Peggy (Jim), nine nieces and nephews as well as two former wives Pamela and Sharon. He was preceded in death by his parents and cherished son Matthew. For many years he enjoyed snowmobile trips to Wisconsin with his family. He will be missed by all who knew him. Private family services have been held. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Memorials may be made to Suicide Prevention Services, 528 S.
