Helen McCollough Wolfgram, age 103, of Hoffman Estates, formerly of Des Plaines for 56 years, passed away March 18, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Harold Wolfgram. Loving mother of Bob (the late Teddi), the late Paul (surviving - Barbara), and the late Caryl Anderson. Proud grandmother of Jason (Jayme) Wolfgram, Heidi (Robert) Perry, Rebekah (Ryan) Bridgers, Ed (Mindy) Bluthardt, Jim (Dawn) Bluthardt, great-grandmother of Ryan (Natalie) DiLeonardo, Jason and Jonny Bluthardt, Jonah, Nathalie, Lucas, and Eleanora Rose Wolfgram, Robert Perry Jr., Ezra, Judah, and Naomi Bridgers, and great-great-grandmother of Verena and Michael DiLeonardo. Dear sister of the late Kay, Kenneth, Gladys, Dorothy, and Beverly McCollough.

Helen was born June 24, 1922 in Superior, Wisconsin to the late William and Archie (nee Gookin) McCollough. Caring for others was an important part of her life. Her career was in nursing, beginning as a traveling nurse in Chicago until moving on to pediatrics at Lutheran General Hospital. Helen also was a long-time member of First United Methodist Church, joining when it was first built. She will be remembered and missed by all who knew her.

A memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, March 31, 2026 from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois.
