Gregory Todd Bergner, age 61, a resident of Naples, Florida for 10 years, formerly of Des Plaines, Illinois, passed away September 24, 2026. He was born May 29, 1965 in Chicago, Illinois. Beloved son of Patrick and the late Janet (nee Smallarz). Loving brother of Patrick J. (Deidre), the late Gerald, and the late Jason Bergner. Dear uncle of Peyton, Ethan, Julia, and Keira Bergner.
Greg was very loved by his family, and he enjoyed time spent with his nieces and nephews. Easygoing and friendly, he easily made friends with everyone he met. Greg will be deeply missed by those who knew him.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, October 14, 2026 beginning with visitation from 4:00 pm until the time of service at 7:00 pm at G.L.
