George J. Peters, age 88, a life-long resident of Des Plaines, Illinois passed away September 26, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Joanne (nee Wesley). Loving father of George W., Russ (Joanne), Roger (Inocencia) Peters, and Laurie (Jack) McNulty. Proud grandfather of nine, and great-grandfather of 13, with one on the way. Dear brother of Lorie (the late Larry) Caison, Marian (the late Ron) Lepek, and the late Kathy Chmel. George was born October 9, 1934 in Des Plaines, Illinois to the late George and the late Katherine (nee Struck) Peters. A memorial visitation will be held Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm at Christ Church UCC, 1492 Henry Ave, Des Plaines, Illinois.
