Fred S. Biskup, age 87, a resident of Des Plaines, Illinois since 1967 passed away October 12, 2024. Beloved husband of Alberta (nee Pyrek). Loving father of Patrice Biskup and Paulette (Peter) Mertes. Proud grandfather of Michael Scopel, Joel Mertes, Amanda (Tom) Klassman, Alexander and Christopher Mertes; and great-grandfather of Chloe and Payton Klassman.

Fred was born July 12, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Stanley and the late Estelle (nee Bobowski) Biskup. An avid Cubs fan, Fred's love for baseball was strong. He could always be found sporting a Cubs hat or jersey, always cheering on his favorite team in everything he did. His passion for fishing was equally profound, and he found peace and joy while on the water.
