Frank Michael Stryczek Jr., age 78, a resident of Des Plaines, Illinois for 36 years, passed away October 28, 2024. Beloved husband of 45 years to the late Susan (nee Bryk). Loving father of Mark (Elisa) Stryczek. Dear brother of Allen (Suzanne), Mike (Kathy), Paul (Diane), Ken (Sonya) Stryczek, and Mary Beth (Russ) Corpolongo, and brother-in-law to Peter (Monica) Bryk. Fond son-in-law to Angeline Jensen. Frank was born August 1, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Frank Sr. and the late Helen (nee Ciurus) Stryczek.

Frank's professional journey was marked by his commitment to Rotary International, where he embodied the organization's mantra of "Service Above Self." As a devoted Rotarian, he touched countless lives, fostering goodwill and understanding across communities. Beyond his professional endeavors, Frank was a man of many talents and passions. He was a skilled bonsai gardener, a craftsman of exquisite stained glass lamps, and an accomplished woodworker. His love for travel took him to various corners of the world, both for work and leisure, and he found immense joy sailing on his beloved boat. Frank's generous spirit was evident in his volunteer work at the Willow Creek Food Pantry, where he dedicated his time to helping those in need. Frank leaves behind a legacy of kindness, creativity, and unwavering dedication to service. His memory will be cherished by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A visitation will be held on Monday, November 4, 2024, from 10:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, located at 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois.
