Fernando V. Aguilar, age 78, of Des Plaines, Illinois passed away September 14, 2021. He was born June 20, 1943 in Peribán, Michoacán, Mexico. Survived by his Sister Ma Elena Aguilar Villafan. He was preceded in death by his other sisters and brothers, including two Nuns of the Catholic Church. Known as Uncle Fernandito to his many, many, Nieces and Nephews. Active member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Des Plaines. Always known as amiable and pleasant, a pleasure to be with. His favorite song was Mexico Lindo y Querido. He was loved by all of his family. He was a very humble person who did not mind putting others before himself. From one Niece "Uncle Fernandito, this is not a goodbye but see you later, you will always live in our thoughts, the October air will remind us of your pleasant presence, since it is the month you would visit us. You will always be present within us." Fernando will lie-in-state Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 9:00 am until the time of mass at 10:00 am at St. Mary Church, 794 Pearson St., Des Plaines, Illinois.
