Eunice Gertrude Boeckenhauer, age 95, of Fox Point, Wisconsin, formerly of Des Plaines, Illinois, passed away December 5, 2024. Beloved wife of 65 years to the late Melvin Boeckenhauer. Dear sister of the late Lawrence Thon and the late Jean Thon Karnstedt. Loving aunt to Kathleen, James, Kenneth, Judi, Lyn, David; great-aunt to Andrew, Diana, Jamie, Kayla, Helen; and great-grand aunt to Abbi. Eunice was born April 17, 1929 in Addison, Illinois to the late Alfred and the late Edna (nee Schaper) Thon. She was an active and long-time member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 13, 2024 from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 855 Lee Street, Des Plaines, Ilinois.
