Eugene Yu-Tsing Koo, age 87, a resident of Norridge, Illinois since 2015, passed away July 30, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Gloria (nee Chan). Loving father of Kane and Kevin (Dalia) Koo. Proud grandfather of Marisol and Gloria. Dear brother of Ronald (Yolanda), Kenneth (Maisie), Howard (Nancy) Koo, Norma (K.T.) Chen, the late Johann (Pauline) Koo, and the late Lily (Wah) Chua. Fond uncle to many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Eugene was born May 2, 1936 in Shanghai, China to the late Stanley and the late Wen-Ying (nee Chen) Koo. He was a retired civil engineer. Eugene loved singing. He was professionally trained and frequently sang with his church choir. Eugene was very generous and often went out of his way to help others. He will be remembered and missed by many. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at 10:00 am in the Chapel at Central Baptist Village, 4747 N. Canfield Ave., Norridge, Illinois.
