Ernest "Ernie" Phillips, age 83, a resident of Des Plaines, Illinois and owner/operator of Touhy and Wolf Shell for more than 50 years, passed away December 28, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Maryann (nee Collett) Phillips. Loving father of Gregory, Stephana (Steven) Przybylski, and Anthony (Lara) Phillips. Proud grandfather of Sydney, Steven, and Stacey Przybylski. Dearest brother of Andy (the late Judy), the late Jim (the late Lorraine), the late Sally, the late Vickee (the late Kosta), the late Tulla (the late Constant) Piccionelli, the late George (the late Ann), the late Nick (the late Josie), the late Gus Phillips and the late John Phillips. Ernest was born November 22, 1938 to the late Anthony and the late Katina (nee Gaminas) Phillips. He was an admired uncle, cousin, and friend of many.
