Dolores E. Chrzan (nee Schmecht), age 94, a resident of Mt. Prospect, Illinois for 17 years, passed away March 21, 2023. Beloved wife of 72 years to the late Frank L. Chrzan. Loving mother of Richard (Ellen), Michael (Karen), and James (Gretchen). Proud grandmother of Ashley, William, Leda, Michael, Claire, James, Hope, Francis "Casey," Jay (Crystal), Rose, and Louis; and great-grandmother of Everett. Dolores was born February 6, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Edward and the late Elizabeth (nee Pekarek) Schmecht. She is survived by her two beloved sisters Dorothy Ponzevic and Diane Hedman.

A memorial visitation will be held Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 10:00 am until the time of Mass at 11:00 am at St. Emily Church, 1400 E. Central Rd., Mt. Prospect, Illinois. Private interment in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, Illinois.
