Dobieslaw Patyk, age 44, of Arlington Heights, Illinois passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Dobek is survived by his wife Ewa, daughters Emily and Abigail, father Andrzej, mother Maria, brother Przemek Patyk (Basia, Noemi), sister Kinga Smith (Lincoln, Arron, and Yasmin), and brother in law Arek Sacharko (Monika, Natalia and Adrian).

Dobek was extremely passionate about his work and had always showed a very strong work ethic. He took great pride in his carpentry business he built from the ground up at the young age of 22 years old. Most important and valuable to him, however, was his loving family. He met his wife of 19 years (together 22) in Chicago and they settled their roots in Arlington Heights. His biggest accomplishment and pride were his two daughters, Emily (16) and Abigail (13). He was always very actively involved in the kids' lives from helping them with their homework to being their number one fan cheering them on at all their extracurricular activities like swimming, dancing and attending their concerts. He was a devoted family man and loved all the time spent together. He thoroughly enjoyed bike rides and he shared that passion with his girls. Dobek enjoyed spending time with his wife and daughters and did everything he could to make them happy. The smile on their faces lit up his heart.  He enjoyed taking his family to the beach in Highland Park, Michigan and annual trips to Florida. He had a heart of gold and was a loving uncle to his nieces Natalia, Noemi, Yasmin, and Margot along with nephews Adrian, Arron, Jackson, and James. His smile would light up a room and he always enjoyed a good party, especially when there was dancing involved. He will be greatly missed.

A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois. Interment of ashes will be Monday, April 11, 2020 at 10:00 am in St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery, Palatine, Illinois.
