Diane S. Kalita (nee Burgo), age 85, a resident of Des Plaines, Illinois for 30 years passed away March 15, 2024. Beloved wife of 65 years to Zenon Kalita. Loving mother of Brian (Susan), Jason, and the late Kevin Kalita. Proud grandmother of Aryn (Kevin) Callarman and Ryan (Haven) Kalita, and great-grandmother of Bennett, Haddie, Flynn, and Mylah. Dear sister of Larry (the late Barb) Burgo. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Diane was born June 13, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Anthony and the late Mamie (nee Kane) Burgo. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 5:00 pm until time of service at 7:00 pm at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois.
