Dennis Ronald Krystyn, age 83, a resident of Des Plaines, Illinois for 46 years passed away November 2, 2022. Beloved husband of 37 years to the late Beatrice Krystyn (nee Ochocki). Loving father of Deborah Davis and Donna (Craig Sr.) Heraty. Proud grandfather of Rebe (Miguel) Arrieta, Brandy, Brooke, and Craig Jr. Heraty, and great-grandfather of Julian Arrieta. Dear brother of Shirley (Robert) Kohut, the late Jack (Betty), the late Robert (Mary), and the late Barry Krystyn. Fond brother in law of Sylvia (the late Ted Sr.) Kraus.  Cherished Uncle, Great Uncle and Great Great Uncle of many who loved him dearly.

Dennis was a man of few words but he always made sure that those who meant the most to him felt his love. No matter what was happening in his own life, he always made it a point to put others first. His selflessness during his time on Earth was admirable. Dennis' love and passion for his family and Chicago sports was something that he would share with everyone. He was compassionate while offering a shoulder to lean on. Dennis was an amazing man; although he is no longer with us, his presence will be felt forever.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 11, 2022 from 9:30 am until 10:30 am at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois. Mass to follow at 11:00 am at St. Stephen Protomartyr Church, 1280 Prospect Ave, Des Plaines, Illinois. Interment in St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles, Illinois. Funeral care provided by G.L.
