Daniel P. Winiecki

Daniel Paul Winiecki, a resident of Des Plaines for almost 40 years, passed suddenly on July 5, 2026 at the age of 73. He was born August 18, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Raymond and Adeline (nee Baron) Winiecki. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Peters) Winiecki. Loving father of Ashley (Stephen) Woodford, Cory (Kari) Winiecki, and Brooke (Jay) Cohen. Proud grandfather of Ella, Georgia, Liam, Anna, Penelope, and Theodore. Dear brother of Elaine (the late Bill) Simpson, Rita (the late Carl) Snyder, the late Kathy (the late Kenny) Yoshida, and the late Raymond (Lisa) Winiecki. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
