Cody J. Camacho, age 39, a resident of Des Plaines, Illinois since 2016 passed away November 2, 2021. Beloved husband of Emerlyn "Chyla" (nee Carag). Loving father of Desiree and Calina. Dear brother of Jesse Camacho, Daniel (Laura) Reed, and Casey Elizabeth Reed. Cody was born August 1, 1982 to Jeri Reed. Cody served in the US Army and was deployed during Operation Iraqi Freedom from March 2003 to 2004. Cody was Vice Commander of American Legion Post 36 in Des Plaines. He was also an active member of St. Stephens Church. Visitation will be held Monday, November 8 from 9:00-10:30 am at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois. Funeral mass to follow at 11:00 am at St. Stephens Church, 1280 Prospect Ave, Des Plaines, Illinois. Interment in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, Illinois.
