Billy J. Caraway

Billy Joe Caraway, age 55, a resident of Cherry Valley, Illinois for 20 years passed away August 25, 2026. Beloved father of Brandon Caraway. Loving son of Arlene (nee McDonald) and the late Wesley Caraway. Dearest brother of Wesley (Margarita), James (Valerie Antuna) Caraway, Debbie (Mark) Schiltz, Terri (David) Humphries, Brenda (Terry) Moore, the late Rose and the late Sandra Caraway. Proud uncle of Wesley III, Natalie (Marcus) Keimig, Madeline (Tom) Malone, Ryan (Lauren), Eric (Brittany) Humphries, Ashley (Dave) Humphries Barry, and many grand-nieces and nephews.

Billy was born May 27, 1971 in Chicago, Illinois. One of the most important moments in his life was when he gave his life to Christ. His unwavering faith showed through everything he did, and Billy strived to lead others down the right path. He was a great friend, father, brother, husband, and someone you could go to for anything. He was cherished by all who knew him and will be missed by many.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2026 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 3, 2026 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment to follow in Ridgewood Memorial Park, Des Plaines, Illinois.
