Beverly Lou Loriss, 87, of Des Plaines, Illinois passed away peacefully on September 21, 2026.

Beverly was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 11, 1939, to Raymond and Genevieve (Groh) Goedert. She was married to the late Nicholas G. Loriss for 56 years and is survived by her children Matthew, Lorraine, Gale, Janet, and Sherry. Beverly is also survived by her grandchildren, Carmen, Louie, Randy, Gloria, Jessica, Christina, Laura, Alex, and Andrew, and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara.

Beverly was predeceased by her husband, Nicholas G. Loriss, son, Nicholas H. Loriss, her parents, Raymond and Genevieve Goedert, and her siblings, Raymond Jr, Dorothy, George, and Robert.

Beverly greatly enjoyed ceramics and singing and she was also fond of crocheting, poker, and playing cards.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 28, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at 10:00 am at the funeral home followed by burial at All Saints Cemetery, 700 N. River Road, Des Plaines, Illinois.
