Barbara A. Blume, age 87, a resident of Des Plaines, Illinois since 1938 passed away March 27, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Willard "Bud" Blume. Loving mother of Diane (Tim) Boyle, Jill (Jeff) Johnson, and Karen (Nick) Harkovich. Proud grandmother of Jason (Dana) Fillipp, Jessica (Jesse) Massman, Brian Johnson, Tim (Valerie) Harkovich, and Michael (Araceli) Harkovich, and great-grandmother of Olivia and Connor Fillipp, Jake and Joslyn Massman, and Kennedy and Everly Johnson. Dear sister of Susan (Dick) Travis and the late Hugo (Jean) Dahm. Barbara was born April 29, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Hugo and the late Rosella (nee Harvey) Dahm. A celebration of life will be held Friday, April 1, 2022 from 4:00 pm until the time of service at 6:00 pm at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois.
