Astrid England (nee Knutsen), age 90, of Elk Grove Village, Illinois passed away November 11, 2023. Beloved wife of the late William W. England. Loving mother of Daniel W. (Diane) England, Dawn (Bill) England O'Connell and the late Eric J. (Sue) England. Fond grandmother of Nicholas Motalo, Pamela (Josh) England Gallois and Chase, Will (Jill), and Kayley (Brendan Penny) O'Connell, and great-grandmother of Jaylee and Lily. Dear sister of nine, including Tom Knutsen and Anna Sinclair. Astrid was born September 21, 1933 in Eiken, Norway to the late Torkel and the late Severine (nee Blaaka) Knutsen. She was well loved and will be fondly remembered by her many friends at Brookdale Senior Living. A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2023 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
