The family of Anthony John Micale, Jr wish to share word of his passing on June 18, 2022.  Tony joyfully celebrated his 80th birthday with cake and cannoli on June 2nd. Tony will be lovingly remembered by many family and friends.  He is the loving father of Jeffrey (Mary Beth Damm) Micale and Laura (Chris) Micale Gilbert and proud grandpa of Eli, Alex, Caden and Paige. He is survived by his brother Paul Micale (Lynn), sister-in-law Sally Rose Harper and nieces and nephews Paul, Sheila, Ellen, Sally Ann, and CJ.  Tony was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Patricia Ann (Brazaitis) Micale. Most recently from Arlington Heights and Morton Grove, IL where he lived close to family, Tony grew up in central New Jersey and called the greater St. Louis/St. Charles Missouri area home for almost 40 years. Tony was in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968. His professional life was in sales and management primarily for the plastics division of Monsanto spanning 30 years.  Tony retired at 55 and dabbled in several business ventures including a travel business specializing in his passions for the game of golf and travel around the world. His greatest blessings were his grandchildren and the many deep and lasting friendships made wherever he and Patti called home. A private burial will be held at All Saints Catholic cemetery in Des Plaines, IL where he will be laid to rest alongside his beloved wife.  Memorial donations may be made to the Sarcoma Foundation of America, https://www.curesarcoma.org/donate/ .
