After college, Tony returned home to start a career as a machinist. He married Bobbie in 1976 and they moved to Chicago. Following the birth of their daughter Stefanie in 1987, they bought a house in Des Plaines where they lived to this day. Tony was very involved with Stef as she grew up and was a Girl Scout leader, which sometimes lead to painted toes. They traveled often including family trips to Poland.
Tony's dedication to friends and family gives testimony to his huge heart. This made him a loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle and great-uncle. As a friend he was in your corner one hundred percent giving you all the love and support that you needed. A talented artist, he created astounding masterpieces in miniature. His dedication to this art is reflected in the countless figures he made and the service that he gave in a more than 40 years as a member of the Military Miniature Society of Illinois.
