Anna Marie Sturgill (nee Saccente), age 85, a resident of Morton Grove, Illinois since 1980, passed away October 17, 2022. Beloved wife of 46 years to Mitchell Sturgill. Loving mother of Robert "Rob" (Nancy) Morrison and Timothy Morrison, and dear mother-in-law to Bruna Morrison. Proud grandmother of Chrissy (Rick) Ducat, Kevin (fiancé Ethan Ogborn) Morrison, and Danny Morrison, and great-grandmother of Marco, Nico, and Liviana. Fond sister of Pat Saccente, the late Phil Saccente, the late Rose Romando, and the late Theresa Saccente. Anna was born October 20, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Pasquale and the late Stella (nee Bien) Saccente. Throughout her life, Anna was a devout catholic, saying the rosary daily. She was a member of St. John Brebeuf Church. She was a caring woman who loved her kids and family. She loved eating sweets and cooking, she always had something in the oven ready to share. Anna was generous to everyone she met, and she never forgot a name. She will be remembered and missed by many. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 23, 2022 from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois. Prayers will be Monday, October 24, 2022 at 10:00 am at the funeral home, funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 am at St. John Brebeuf Church, 8305 N Harlem Ave, Niles, Illinois.
