Anna DeFilippis

Anna DeFilippis (nee Bolognini), age 90, of Huntley, Illinois passed away peacefully on August 15, 2026. She is survived by her children Maria (the late Ralph) Zaccaro, Pasquale (Sylvia) DeFilippis, grandchildren Sara Zaccaro, Girolamo (Megan) Zaccaro, AnnaMaria (Taylor) Peulen, Vincenzo DeFilippis, and great-grandchildren Violetta, Lorenzo, Leo, and Luciano. Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Vincenzo DeFilippis, and parents.

The daughter of the late Giuseppe and Antonietta (nee Pesole) Bolognini, she was born in Triggiano, Bari, Italy. Anna and her husband were successful pizzeria owners for 50 years. She loved and cherished her family and friends, and will be greatly missed by all.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 20 from 9:15 am until 10:15 am at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Hope Mission, 9711 W. Devon Avenue, Rosemont, Illinois. Entombment in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, Illinois.
