Anecia Calimlim De Ocampo, age 86, of Des Plaines, formerly of Chicago, Illinois passed away September 2, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Alfredo De Ocampo. Loving mother of Arvid (Amelia) De Ocampo, Joji (Rey) Fernandez, and Noel (Elna) De Ocampo. Proud grandmother of Kenneth (Nestle), Fiel, Gladys, Hilary (J.R.), Regine, and Janaire (Leslie), and great-grandmother of Mikayla, Leon, and Jaylen. Dear sister of Gudelia, the late Nicomedes, the late Melina, and the late Lucia. Anecia was born December 30, 1936 in Dagupan City, Philippines to the late Antonio and the late Teresa (nee Lomibao) Calimlim. Before she moved to the United States, Anecia worked as a teacher in the Philippines.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 8, 2023 beginning with prayers at the funeral home at 10:15 am and followed by Mass at 11:00 am at St. Mary Church, 794 Pearson St., Des Plaines, Illinois.
