Alvan F. Bohannon, age 58, of Mt. Prospect passed away March 24, 2026. Beloved husband of 21 years to Julie (nee Tedeschi). Loving father of Alicia. Dear son of Alvan and the late Darlene (nee Walsh). Fond brother of Susan Xenos, Uncle to Alan Xenos. Son-in-law of Ann and Robert Hamilton, favorite Brother-in-Law of James Tedeschi (Adrienne) and Amy (Richard) Bernardon. Loyal friend to many.

Al's second love after his family was his beloved Heritage Softail Harley. Riding the open roads with his friends at his side was his favorite pastime. Al loved to watch Alicia ride her horse Logan and was their number one pit crew at horse shows. Al & Julie spent many weekends seeking out the best antique shops and, in the summer, loved attending as many outdoor concerts as they could find. His love, companionship and loyalty will remain forever in our hearts.

In lieu of a wake, a graveside service will be held Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 11:00 am at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, Illinois.
