Alice Cornelia Barnhart (nee Gordon), age 80, a resident of Des Plaines, Illinois since 1966 passed away July 19, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Earl Barnhart. Loving mother of Timothy (Rosalinda) and Deborah Barnhart. Proud grandmother of Stephanie and Jacob Barnhart. Dear sister of Suzanne Weaver, Henrietta (Ralph) Bloemker, the late Mary Gordon, Minnie Hutchinson, Genevieve Gordon, and Garland Gordon. Alice was born June 8, 1946 in Cottonwood, Illinois to the late Henry and Odessa (nee Croy) Gordon.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Christ Church - UCC, 1492 Henry Ave., Des Plaines, Illinois. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am and will go until the time of service at 11:00 am. Interment in Town of Main Cemetery, Park Ridge, Illinois. Funeral care provided by G.L.
