Kenneth J. Jankusky, 83, formerly of Wauconda for 21 years and Chicago, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2012. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary Ann (nee Rudis); loving father of Keith (Kathy), and Karen (Gene) Santella; cherished grandfather of Brian, Anthony, Amanda, and Kyle; dear brother of Dorothy (Bob), Beverly (Leo), Peter and the late John; and fond uncle and friend of many. Kenneth was an Army veteran and member of the VFW and the American Legion. He loved to travel and was an avid reader. Visitation will be Sunday, February 19, beginning at 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue in Des Plaines. A Prayer Service will be on Monday, February 20, at 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Zachary Catholic Church, 567 W. Algonquin Road in Des Plaines.
